Large Laguna Lace Agate Cabochon

This cabochon is an excellent representation of Laguna Lace agate. The layers form a lacy pattern with a crystalline druzy pocket along the bottom.

About: Laguna Lace agate is a variety of Mexican Crazy Lace agate. This material contains bands of color, typically red and white but sometimes yellow, layered on top of one another. The pattern bends and twists often creating a lace-effect as it's name suggests. Laguna Lace agate is only found as vein material, which makes it difficult to find large, intact pieces.
